Successful and well-established contract manufacturer looking for an experienced Swiss-Type CNC machinist to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a close-tolerance/high-production 3 to 8-Axis CNC Swiss-Type machining environment, and be proficient in the use of hand measuring tools, such as micrometers and digital indicators. We are willing to train experienced Non-Swiss-Type machinists with significant turning center experience and desire to learn Swiss-Type technology.
This position requires the ability to perform in-process quality verifications and documentation, therefore candidate should be computer-literate and have knowledge/experience in production environments employing statistical process control designed for high-volume manufacturing. Candidate should also have experience working in a process driven ISO registered quality management system focused on continual improvement.
Position requirements:
*Blueprint reading and interpretation
*Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on production needs
*Adherence to standard operating procedures and process flows
*Record and document data for production and quality requirements
*Skilled in the use of all precision measurement equipment manual and visual, Keyence IM experience is a plus (will train)
*Knowledge of Microsoft office suite a plus
